Competed in the December slam last Saturday.
Sang on stage…belted it out with this new voice that I found in October. Don’t know where it came from, but I’ve got it now.
The competition was intense, lots of brilliant stuff and the energy was almost scary.
Went to an after party and didn’t go to sleep until after 5. Kept waking up the next morning and finally got up at 9 to write a long, long poem. A little too long to slam, but I may do it anyway and just take the point hit.
